I am 54 and this year I got my first Buck.. a very typiclal 8 pointer that will score in the neighborhood of 130. Shot him at 210 yards with a Remington 700 30-06. He was chasing a doe across an open field at 10:AM .. I fired a shot and he stopped and turned and looked right at me. I slipped the next shot right under his chin, and flipped him head over rear end. I will never forget that deer flying back like that. Estimate he was 2 and a half years old. thought he was older from where I was at.. but I think now he is the deer I was seeing last year with a very high double spike with 4 points.

Get a better scope and U can C that buck next time. Real waste of a gud buck when you shoot a 2.5 year old buck. Should never shoot a buck that the antelers are not outside the ears. Amature
